L'Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Shampoo, Conditioner, and Lustrous Oil Serum

I received a VoxBox from Influenster, and as such, feel the need to review the products.

I will admit, I was skeptical. It claimed that it could make  your hair softer after only one use. My hair is notoriously dry. So is my scalp. Frankly, I expected it to be an ok cleanser for my hair, but that was about it.

I was shocked to be wrong. My hair was soft, lustrous, and not frizzy after the first use. (Granted, I live on an island at the bottom of Texas now, so humidity is a way of life here.) The oil serum is light, but it penetrates into the hair. The shampoo isn't super sudsy, but I am quite ok with that. (To be fair, too much sudsiness is bad for your hair, anyhow. The conditioner felt like some I have tried before, and paid a lot more for, but it moisturized brilliantly. The oil serum was very light, and I didn't have to use a lot for it to smooth and detangle my hair. Mind you, I have hair to my waist, so I used an amount a little larger than a quarter. I wrapped my hair in my hair towel, let it sit like that for about 10 minutes, and then brushed through it. Holy crap, I had almost NO tangles. My hair smelled nice, and once it was completely dry, it was as soft as the bristles on my brand new makeup brushes!

Mind, each of these bottles of hair stuff is worth $5.99 plus tax. (Target) The shampoo and conditioner bottles I received were the full-sized 12.6 oz bottles, and the oil serum was the full-sized 3.4 oz bottle. Since I only wash my hair every other day (due to my hair being so dry,) this will last me at least a month. It's made for daily use, or so the packaging says.

I will warn you readers that, if you have oily hair, I would avoid this. This stuff packs some serious moisture. However, if you have dry hair, it is a godsend. There is also a variant of this line made just for curly hair, and I would encourage you to try it if your curls are a little crunchy.

Toodles!
