Dove Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo and Conditioner

OK, so until recently, I was using DesignLine Ultimate Radiance shampoo and conditioner, made by Regis. And I will confess, I loved the stuff. It was light, kept my hair clean, moisturized well without leaving a heavy, greasy feel. I was fond of it.

However, having been unemployed for the better part of a year, $10.95 per bottle was hitting my pocketbook hardcore. Seriously hardcore. For conditioner, shampoo, and leave-in, it was hitting around $36 everytime I bought my hair stuff.

The inner cheapskate in me was crying in agony, but I couldn't justify not using something that made my hair feel fantastic.

This is the stuff. They're great products, and I would go back to them again, but I am just too poor for all of those shenanigans at this point.

So I was browsing my local Wally World when I remembered that I was about out of shampoo and conditioner. I wasn't quite sure what to try, but since I had just got paid, I felt I could get myself something mid-range and not wince. Thus, I chose this:

Apparently, this has been around for a while, and I have just plain been oblivious. At $4.98 a bottle, that is less than half what I was paying per bottle for DesignLine. Also, did you know that all Dove hair products are sulfate free? I believe they hay still have some dimethicones in them, but NO sulfates! That made me a happy girl, because sulfates are no-no's for my hair, and salon products not having them was one of the reasons I preferred salon stuff.

Right now, my hair feels like silk. I hate using clichés, but I am serious. My hair feels so amazingly soft and smooth. I've had less frizz, and after only two uses, my hair feels less crunchy.

Check this awesomeness out at anyplace where they carry Dove products!
